FAQ's
Please find below a set of questions and answers that we believe dance teachers may find essential in making decisions for their dance school.

1
What is the maximum occupancy for each cabin?
Cabins accommodate from one to four individuals, with at least one person being 18 years or older. The first two occupants in each cabin, regardless of age, will be charged at an adult rate. For families larger than four, please notify us at the beginning of the booking process, as we may occasionally secure larger family cabins. Alternatively, we can explore options for connecting cabins.
2
Does a single supplement apply?
Since MSC is a family-oriented cruise line with infrequent single travelers, the supplement is 100%. This implies that an individual desiring a cabin alone would need to pay the same rate as two people.
3
Is it mandatory for every group member to have the same cabin type?
Families have the flexibility to choose their preferred cabin type, whether it's an interior, ocean view, or balcony. We will collectively organise the group to have each cabin type, allowing families to make their selections.
4
While meals are always included in the cruise package, is it possible for families to opt for an additional drinks package?
Adding on drinks packages is possible, but this must be done at the time of booking for the entire group.
5
What is the amount of the cabin deposit, and when is the deadline for payment?
The cruise deposit is £100 per person, irrespective of passenger ages. Families must submit a deposit to secure their cabin, and please note that the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining cruise balance must be settled 17 weeks before the departure date.
6
Is it my responsibility as a dance teacher to ensure timely payment of balances and manage the cash?
Each family will individually handle the payment of their balance directly to Dance at Sea, alleviating the stress from the dance teacher.
7
If families join the group later on, will the prices remain unchanged?
Group prices come with a set deadline, which you will be made aware of during your initial inquiry. Beyond the deadline, additional families can still be accommodated, subject to cabin availability, but at the prevailing general sale rate, which may be higher.
8
Is it possible for a child to participate in the performance if their family books directly with MSC or through another agent?
Performing on a cruise ship is an exclusive service provided by Dance at Sea. Cabins booked outside the group will not be allowed to participate in ship stage performances with the group or engage in any group activities.
